1st St Briavels Scout Group
We’re an active Scout Group, regularly taking part in outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. Our leaders have a wide range of skills, interests and experience so we offer a varied programme. One week we might focus on home skills such as cooking or sewing, the next it could be fencing, air rifle shooting, a science project or map reading.
As a relatively new Group, we are well-aligned with the modern Scouting #SkillsForLife ethos. We love fun and adventure, but we also care about our local community and the wider world. We aim to help Beavers, Cubs and Scouts build personal and practical skills as well as confidence, self-esteem and resilience. This helps them achieve their very best within Scouting and we hope it plays a part preparing them for a fulfilling adult life.
